Open Question: why is there all of a sudden all these brazilian jujitsu schools in small towns across the US?
When I did mma I rolled with a brazilian jujitsu artist who was actually brazilian and came from brazil. As I moved around I noticed all of these brazilian jujitsu schools who were run by middle aged white men who had no resemblence to brazil at all. Miost did not even come close to the fundamental techniques learned by my brazilian friend. Are they posers? Why have these tough guys continually neglected wrestling which is just as important to learn in fighting and is an art where they are from?
