Open Question: it’s ok to fight as soon as possible or better to wait after a year of training?

you just started thai box training. the place where you train, they can put you in mma fights. say you want to fight eventhough your just a beginner and your only training in thai boxing. but you like fighting with mma gloves and you want to fight. would you jump right in and take whatever fight you can get. every fight you can get. gain experience and stuff. your probability of losing is higher since your a beginner, but maybe the trade-off is worth it? or train for like a year before your first fight?
